Gordon Edward Cole

Gordon Edward Cole of Lawton, MI passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, MI on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the age of 74. He was born in New London, CT on July 23, 1946 the son of Edward & Norma Cole. Gordon graduated from Otsego High School in 1964. After graduation he spent 5 years in the Navy. In 1974 Gordon started his career at James River Paper company, were he worked for 26 years before retiring in 2000. Gordon met Carol Lewis in 1984 and they married in 1991. Gordon was a motorcycle enthusiast and owned many motorcycles in his lifetime. He was the announcer at the US 131 Motorsports Park for many years. He is survived by his wife Carol Cole of 29 years, sons: Chad Cole & Dustin Cole; Stepdaughter: Meadow Charkowski; several grandchildren & 3 step-grandchildren.
