My prayer
I wish to tell you all "Good bye"
Please don't be sad, please do not cry
For I am home; my Lord I have seen,
Whom I have love since I was three.
He welcomed me with open arms
Please know in death there is no alarm
If Jesus Christ is your Savior is
All is lovely, joy and bliss
Remember me in smiles and laughter
Even though at times long after
when I am gone a tear may raise
Remember me in hymns and praise
Do not weep for me I pray
For I have finally made my way
To where my Precious Lord I see
From earthly toils I am set free.
Rejoice in all you say and do
Our days on earth are far to few
To serve our Lord and worship Him
And try each day a soul to Win. This is my prayer.
Helen E. Newland
Free from all my earthly stains
A new Creature Now am I
