Helga L. Henschke

Helga L. (Süss) Henschke, of Mattawan, MI went to be with the lord on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the age of 81. She was born on September 9, 1939 in Germany. The daughter of Ludwig and Luise (Muller) Süss. On January 3, 1959 she joined Gustav "Gus" Henschke in marriage. Together they raised two children, Perry Henschke and Penny Diaz. She was dedicated to teaching Continued Christian Education (CCD) at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Mattawan, MI for over ten years. Helga is survived by her loving husband, Gustav "Gus" Henschke; children: Perry (Aedamar) Henschke and Penny Diaz; grandchildren: Stefan, Ciara, Molly, Emmalee (Jeff), Olivia; and great-granddaughter Addison. Mass will be held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at 11:00am, with a graveside service at Mount Everest Cemetery at 2:00pm.
