Henrietta Butcher

Henrietta Butcher, 90, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on 31 July 2020. She was born to parents Henry & Grace (Hesse) VanderMeer, on 18 February 1930 in Grandville, Michigan. Henrietta married her beloved husband, Richard H Butcher Sr, on February 25, 1950 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Together they raised 5 children: Bonnie (John) Zamora, Khem (Rui) Butcher, Sally (David) Baker, Richard (Helen) Butcher, Jr, and Rebekah (Joe) Russo. Henrietta and Richard were married for 58 years before he passed in August 4, 2008. Anyone who met Henrietta knew that she loved the Lord, and together with Richard, raised their children to love Him and follow Him, and she is now at peace with Him. She leaves behind 5 children and their spouses, 9 grandchildren and their spouses and 21 great grandchildren. Her dearest wish is that all of them would follow Jesus and live for Him.
