Holden David High, age 6, of Decatur, MI went to be with the Lord at 3:30 PM on June 21, 2017. He was doing what he loved, playing outdoors.
Holden was born on April 6, 2011 in Mishawaka, IN to Dave & Stacey (Stevenson) High, who survive.
Holden just finished kindergarten at Howardsville Christian School. At kindergarten graduation, Holden said his favorite food was steak, favorite subject was math, and he wanted to be a farmer when he grew up. He enjoyed swimming, 4-wheeling, farming, soccer, and taking care of the cows. He also enjoyed Church, Bible School, and spending time with his cousins. His favorite bible verse was John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh to the father, but by me. He enjoyed memorizing his bible verses.
Surviving along with his parents are 3 siblings, Hadley Joy, 7, Hudson Steven, 4 and Heston Scott, 1; Grandparents, Jack & Pam Stevenson of Crawfordsville, IN and Carlene High of Marcellus, MI. Great-Grandparents Lloyd & Betty Hopkins of Brownsburg, IN and Louise Grenard of Crawfordsville, IN; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Holden was loved by all.
The family will receive friends at Howardsville Christian School Gym on Sunday June 25th from 2 to 4 PM and 5 to 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 26th at 11 AM at Howardsville Christian School with Pastors Chris High & Christopher High officiating. Burial will be at Charleston Cemetery where Holden passed by many times in the ranger to check the Snyder Farm.
