Jack E. Webber, 87, of Allegan, MI lived November 10, 1929 to April 1, 2017. The son of J. Ernie and Hazel (Sprague) Webber was born in Grand Rapids, MI and moved several times throughout his childhood. Jack graduated from Toledo, Ohio, where he married his high school sweetheart, Jacquelyn (Brenneman), who proceeded him in death. Jack and Jackie settled in Allegan, and he ran Webber Motor Sales for over 30 years. The couple were lifelong members of United Methodist Church. Jack was an avid gardener and enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies, including fishing, hunting, and collecting seashells on the Florida shoreline. Jack was an amazing craftsman and created intricate intarsia woodscapes. Jack had twinkling blue eyes and a quick wit. If you knew him, you most likely shared a laugh with him. Jack is survived by his five children: Jody (Jim) Jackson of Allegan, Jennifer Kirchner of California, John (Diane) Webber of Plainwell, Jeana Aiken of Traverse City, and Jay (Christa) Webber of Mattawan; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mable Collins of Birmingham; and brother/sister-in-laws Warren Alkire of Texas, Norma Brenneman of Ohio, and Jeff Brenneman of Ohio. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 15, at 11:00 A.M. at Allegan United Methodist Church in Allegan. In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
