He was an avid sports fan, loved his gardening, music, reading, biking, and golf. He was especially passionate about rescuing strays and finding them safe shelter. He personally has adopted several dogs over the years and currently leaves behind his Bambi, Baxon, and Snickers.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Olus Marvin and Rebecca Kissee Gill, and James Markie Morgan and Jane Rafferty Bracken.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service per Scott’s wishes, but a celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date in January. Memorials may be sent to the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue or to a charity of choice.
