Janice E. Mihills

Janice E. Mihills age 71, of Jones, MI passed away Friday, July 21, 2017.
She was born December 16, 1945 in Dowagiac, MI the daughter of Harold Franklin and Lucille Cora (Rosby) Moon. On November 29, 1964 in Dowagiac, MI she married Norman Lee Mihills who preceded her in death.
Janice retired from Woodland Behavior Healthcare Network in Vandalia and had also previously worked for the State Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was very involved with her church, volunteering for many luncheons, helping in the nursery and where ever she was needed. She enjoyed her Wednesday breakfast club with her friends. Janice truly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed attending all of their school activities.
Surviving is one daughter, Joanne (Scott) Pederson of Portage, MI; one son, Jeff (Heather) Mihills of Jones, MI; one sister Linda (Larry) Culver of Dowagiac, MI; six grandchildren; brother in law Dale (Gidget) Mihills of Jones and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Norman.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Monday, August 7, 2017 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus, MI. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Newberg with Pastor Mike Owen officiating.
