Jerry Hulburt

Jerry Scott Hulburt was born June 29, 1961, in Albert Lea, MN to Jerald & Joan (Kabrud) Hulburt. He spent most of his younger years growing up in Easton with his brothers and sisters. Jerry was married from 1986-1994 to Janell Gronseth, having two children. Shortly after, Jerry moved to Plainwell, MI to start fresh and to be closer to his family. There he got a job as a factory worker. 

After having his stroke in 2009, Jerry slowed down to take the time to enjoy the simpler things in life. He enjoyed Greek mythology, hunting for rocks and polishing them, building sculptures, spending his free time in nature & with his cat Rocket. Jerry’s memories will live on through his story telling abilities. He often spoke of angels and now his gentle spirit is among them. 

He is survived by his son Spencer and his daughter Emily as well as his granddaughter Liala Grace; his siblings: Dave Lincoln, Mike Hulburt, Jason (Liz) Hulburt, Cindy (Tom) Wood, Debbie Doest, Gordon Becker; his close friend Janell Sellers and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerald Hulburt; his mother Joan Becker as well as his stepfather, Gordon Becker.
