Jerry D. Peterson Sr.

Jerry D. Peterson Sr., “Paw Paw" ,66, of Elkhart, IN passed away Thursday February 16 2023. He was born on May 16 1956 in Laporte, Indiana and graduated from Concord High School.

Jerry was a sweet, soft spoken man with strong convictions. He was a patient and loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a master of dad jokes He worked as a laborer in many trades and had a knack for fixing things and understanding how complicated things worked. He also loved classic cars, a passion that he shared with his children and grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his wife Hazel, brothers: George and Ronnie; sister: Donna, daughter: Christina (Lawrence), sons: Daniel and Jerry Jr. (Jessica), grandchildren: Lawrence, Cody, Taylor and Jerry, and two great grandchildren ,Jaxon and Kaylee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and George and 2 siblings, sister: Barbara, and brother: Robert.

 A memorial service will be held at a later date.
