JAMES, Jessica M. Kalamazoo A daughter is a day brighter and a heart warmer. . . Author Unknown. Jessica lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 36, and passed peacefully at Rose Arbor Hospice Care on July 13, 2014. Jessica was born March 13, 1978 in Kalamazoo, MI to Orland (Butch) James and Julie (Brockway) Cutler. She attended Comstock High School and Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Most recently, Jessica was employed with Harold Ziegler Auto Group. She also worked many years in the Wings Stadium Annex and at Benteler Automotive. Jessica loved to spend her Monday nights with her brother watching wrestling and taking him to wrestling events. She loved to read, movies, and an occasional hockey game. Jessica always had a smile on her face; bringing laughter and warming the hearts of her friends and family. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Left with many loving memories are her partner Shaun Born, mother Julie (Dennis) Cutler, stepmother Katherine James, brother Orland (Kurtis) James, sisters Stephanie Kizer, Gabriela Vallesi, grandfathers Duane James, and Alvin Brockway; uncles Bruce Brockway, Brian (Paula) Brockway, Jeff (Chris) Brockway; aunts Rose (Roosevelt) Armstrong, Debra James, and Vicki Smith . Jessica is preceded in death by her father, and grandmothers Mary Frances James and Shirley Anne Brockway. Service and visitation are not scheduled.
