Joyce Keyes

Joyce Carolyn Keyes of Vicksburg, MI passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 80. Joyce was born December 19, 1941, to Harold and Rose (Miller) Manley. Joyce was a saint for putting up with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was well known for her apple fritters and being the team mom for the little league team. She did the March of Dimes with the family. Joyce was also known for making her dandelion wine, loved to spend time at Lake Michigan, Silver Lake sand dunes, and spending time with family. She was an animal lover, cats, dogs, and wildlife. Joyce went to all the family events, school events, horse shows and the motorcycle races. She was always there for her family and friends when needed. Joyce loved her 1967 Camaro.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roger Keyes; mother-in-law, Verna Keyes; her children, Roxanne Norman (Kevin Bonebright), and Roger (MaryLynn) Keyes II; grandchildren, Crystal Norman (Josh Shook), Veronica Norman, and Monique Wilcox; great grandchildren, Evan, Ian, Maddox, and Mallary; and several nieces and nephews. Joyce is preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Anne; her parents; her father-in-law, Archie Keyes; her brothers, Bud, Robert, and Victor; and her favorite dog, Rotten.

Celebration of life event being held at Portage - Schoolcraft Eagles, 11611 Shaver Rd., Schoolcraft, MI 49087 at 4pm on Saturday, February 5th, 2022. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local animal shelter in Joyce’s name.
