Judith Ann Labadie

Judith Ann Labadie passed away with family by her side on December 28, 2021, at the age of 82. She was born on June 27, 1939, to Francis & Gladys (Farrington) Arkoette. Visit with her family and friends on Monday, January 3, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Avink McCowen Secord Funeral Home, Portage Chapel; 5975 Lovers Lane in Portage. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the same location. Judy is survived by her children: Cheryle (Tom) Burkhead, Caryle (Jerry) Johnson, Kevin (Kim) Labadie, Richard (Joi) Labadie and Lori (Brad) Tomlin; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her brother Mark and sister Mera-Lee as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Douglas and her brother David.

Judy was a registered nurse for over 30 years. She loved Dr. Pepper, strawberry ice cream, BBQ potato chips. She adored babies, especially her grand and great grandchildren. Judy lived in Spain while her husband was in the Air Force, and she loved her time there. She spent a lot of her time attending her kids and grandkids soccer games as well as a brownie and girl scout leader.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
