Julia Susan Beran

Julia (Julie) Susan Beran, 77, of Schoolcraft, MI passed away December 14, 2020. She was born September 1, 1943 in Kalamazoo, MI to Louis C. and Camilla A. (Hatley) Berky. Julie was a loving, caring, kindhearted wife, mother, and grandma. She lived for her family and treasured her husband, children, and grandkids. Julie met the love of her life before her senior year in high school. They were voted “Couple Most Likely to Stay Together” and they did for over 60 years. She loved going out to breakfast with her husband followed by a road trip to an antique store with Elvis on the radio. Julie enjoyed preparing holiday meals at her house and made lots of delicious goodies. She loved to surprise everyone with a handmade felt ornament each Christmas. She had many hobbies which included: sewing, embroidery, word searches, and gardening. Her favorite birds were hummingbirds and cardinals. She enjoyed when they visited her feeders. She was so proud of her grandchildren and loved to attend every school function, sporting event, and recital they participated in. Julie is now an angel in heaven. We know she will still be with us and guide us in our lives. She has a special place in our hearts and will be missed so much. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers. She is survived by her husband John, daughters Diana Beran, Kathy (Kevin) Richards, Cindy Beran and grandchildren Emily (Cody) Marshall, Alysia Stozicki, Ethan Richards, and Nicholas Richards. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
