June Arlene Fellows

June A. Fellows passed away peacefully at her home after a very short illness with cancer. She was born July 4, 1927 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of John and Euna (Lambeck) Chriswell. She married Gerald N. Fellows on 9/24/48 and they had 64 years together before his death in 2012. June loved cooking and sports, as she was always a spectator at her grand-children's many games. She was a huge Detroit Tiger fan, and also loved watching tennis. June loved her church family & looked forward to all the functions and services. Surviving are 4 daughters, Diane Eager, Karen Fellows, Kim Shepperd & Kay Clark (John). She has 3 grandchildren, Tim Eager (Chris), Chad & Chelsea Smith. Also survived by her sister & brother-in-law, Mary Lou (Fellows) and Vern Mason, as well as several nieces and nephews. June has a long list of cousins that she loved very much. Her brother Lee Heath (Mary), preceded her death. As she wished, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held to honor her on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 2 pm at the Kalamazoo Covenant Church, 5708 E. Main St., Kalamazoo, MI, with Kelly Casey officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to either The Kalamazoo Covenant Church, or Heartland Hospice of Kalamazoo.
