Karen Kavlock 65 Vicksburg passed away November 8th. She was born August 31st 1955 to Frank and Louise Dunkeson in El Paso Texas. She studied at Jackson Michigan business school. She formerly worked as a stock transfer agent at Consumers Power company in Jackson Michigan. She was married in 1979 to the love of her life Lawrence Kavlock. Later on she was a former playground supervisor and an office as well as teachers aid at Vicksburg Community Schools.
Karen was loved by everyone who got to know her, we will all miss her laugh, smile, voice and everything about her. Karen loved her birds, flowers, chimes, cobalt glass and aluminum ware. She especially loved her dogs. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. Most of all she loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years Lawrence Kavlock, son Kevin Kavlock (Andrea Kavlock), grand daughter Savannah Harring, sister Cheryl Shaw (Ron Shaw), Ruth Cooley (Rick Cooley) and Nieces Nikki Sobel (George Sobel) and Kellie Bender (Matt Bender), Amy Teachout, and Ben Cooley. A commemoration of her life will be held as a private ceremony with close family and friends.
