Kenneth David Curtsinger was born October 29, 1957 in Decatur, Illinois. He was the son of Elwood Curtsinger Sr. and Odema Huff. On December 01, 2020 he married the love of his life and relocated to Three Rivers, Michigan.
Every moment of Ken's life revolved around the love and compassion of his family, friends and dogs. Kenny was especially proud of his two daughters; Amy and Kimberly. He was a man who put the needs of others before his own. He was strong in body, spirit and commitment. He was an avid fisherman and generously shared his catch with his yearly fish fries for his family and friends. Ken loved gardening and cooking. His desire to improve his health led him to the join the Decatur YMCA where he was a committed member.
He is preceded in his passing by his parents and his brother: Anthony Curtsinger. Left to cherish Kenneth’s loving memory is his wife: Jerri “Hoff” Curtsinger; children: Amy (Lea’Roy IV) Williams and Kimberly (Caleb) Boyd; grandchildren: Carissa Curtsinger, Chaniece Anderson, Yusuphine Ali, Paul Beeson IV, Torre Palmer, Logan Beeson, Brieannah Boyd, Belac Boyd, Liliana Boyd, and; great-grandchildren: Cavell Hendrix and Caretta Morrow; siblings: Elwood (Diane) Curtsinger Jr., Veronica Curtsinger, Karen (Michael) Mulder, and Daniel (Melissa) Curtsinger; many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Kenneth’s wishes cremation has taken place and two memorial services will be held. The first one will be Thursday, August 19 at 11 A.M. at Edwards Corners Bible Church 51047 Chamberlain Rd, Marcellus, MI 49067. The second service will be Saturday, September 4, from 12-3 at Decatur Family YMCA, 220 West McKinley, Decatur, Illinois.
