Larry Kenneth Armentrout

Larry Armentrout, a resident of Plainwell, MI, passed away at home surrounded by

loved ones on February 18th, 2023. Larry was born on December 16th, 1937, in Plainwell, MI to

Elizabeth & Grover Armentrout. Larry was a very ambitious man, skilled in many trades, and

accomplished much throughout his life. Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired businessman.

While stationed in San Diego, CA, Larry met his wife, Kathleen. They married on July 17th, 1959

and enjoyed 63 years of marriage together. Larry lived a full life and made the most of every

moment. He enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, farming, carpentry, storytelling, and

spending time with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother (Elizabeth

Armentrout), father (Grover Armentrout), stepmother (Phyllis Armentrout), and wife (Kathleen

Armentrout). He is survived by his son (Cevin Armentrout), daughter (Rhonda Armentrout),

grandchildren (Levi Pinks, Sutherland Knight, and Acacia (Kaycee) Knight), brothers (Mitch and

Tony Armentrout), and several cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A private graveside gathering has taken place. Those who wish to make memorial contributions

are asked to consider the needs of the family.
