Laura Deerwester

Laura Deerwester, passed away peacefully on April 14th, 2021. Beloved mother to Kelly (Steve) Chuchvara, Kristen Burr, and grandmother to Dru Chuchvara. Dearest sister of Jean and Linda. She was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Ruth Deerwester. Laura was an incredible crafter and creator, adored aunt and sister, and an incredibly generous and loyal friend to many. She was employed by Otsego Public Schools, Party Perfect, and the City of Kalamazoo before her retirement. She enjoyed her time with her granddaughter Dru, her prized dogs, Oskar and Dudley, and volunteering with Christian Neighbors Pantry. A celebration of life to be safely held at a later date.
