Leo Edward Mitchell

MITCHELL, Leo E. Sr. Allegan Age 81 Passed away Aug. 10, 2010 at his home. Leo was born May 15, 1929 in Allegan; the son of John and Erma (Peak) Mitchell, Sr. He was an army veteran and was employed by North American Rockwell for 41 years. Dad's favorite saving was "Don't worry, be happy." Surviving are his children: Leo Mitchell, Jr.; Michael and Tina (Schneider) Mitchell, Sr.; Lorraine J. Yarber; Arlene K. Mitchell; Therea and Howard Young, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; a sister Carol Russell; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons, Anthony and Terry Mitchell. At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. Dad's final request was to have a celebration for friends and family at a later date.
