Rev. Leon Dykstra

Rev. Leon Dykstra, age 100, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024. He was a graduate of Wyoming High School, Hope College and Western Theological Seminary. He pastored 4 Reformed churches. During WWII he served in the Army Air Corps in the China-Burma-India theater. He was awarded the Air Medal twice and the Distinguished Flying Cross. 

Rev. Dykstra was preceded in death by Ruth, his wife of 75 years. He is survived by children: Lori Fairman and Lisa (Ken) Baas; grandchildren: Melissa Cagle, Rebecca (Tim) Charney, and Michael Baas; great grandchildren: Tyler Cagle and Austin Charney.
