Linda peacefully passed away unexpectantly on Sunday March 16, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at Bronson Hospital.

Linda was born on December 15, 1946, daughter of Clarence and Dawn Wesaw. Linda is a tribal member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. She attended Otsego High School (class of 1965). Linda retired in 2008 from General Motors, serving 35 years at various plants in Kalamazoo, Janesville, WI, and Detroit. After retirement she returned to reside in Otsego, MI to be near her family and friends. Linda was a kind, vibrant gentle soul. Linda was the matriarch of the Wesaw family. She loved her immediate family, especially her beloved son David. Linda especially relished opportunities to visit with extended relations, she enjoyed the company of many friends, especially her life-long friend Becky Holden. Linda was a member of a Thursday lunch club. She loved to help her family and friends at a moment’s notice, always volunteering to help in any capacity necessary. Linda had numerous interests including lawn keeping, cooking, reading. In her quiet time, she enjoyed spending time with her grand kitties Kiwi and Finnegan, listening to country music and completing word search puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her father Clarence Wesaw (1962), mother Dawn Wesaw (1989), a sister Sally Wesaw (1977) brother Michael Wesaw (2003) and brother Wayne Wesaw (2004). She is survived by her son David Carson Moore; her last surviving sibling Dawn Wesaw; her beloved nephews: Jason Wesaw and Ben Brown; her beloved niece Mandy Padget; as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, second cousins, great nephews, great nieces and a great great niece.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, March 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home; 120 S. Woodhams St. in Plainwell. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 at the same location.
