Linda passed away peacefully Sunday January 8th, 2023 at Glenn Arbor Hospice in Battle Creek, Michigan. Linda was born to William & Joan Young of Cooper Township on January 10th, 1947. Linda graduated with honors from Richland high school in 1965 & continued her education at Davenport University. Linda acquired many life skills through her years, but she found her work home at Western Michigan University where she worked for 18 years, prior to her retirement. Linda was married to Terry L Brauer. Together they had two children & resided in Parchment, Michigan. Linda was very active in her children & grandchildren's lives & activities. Be it sports, theater or school events, she was always present to show her support. Linda's family was the highlight of her life. She never hesitated to share family stories & she glowed with pride in her children & grandchildren's accomplishments.

 

Linda will be greatly missed & is survived by her daughter Teresa Lynn Bagley & her son William Howard Brauer. She had three grandsons: Nathan, Ryan, & Will. She also had two great granddaughters. She is also survived by her brother William (Cindy) Young, sister Marsha (Manuel) Garza, sister Sonya Young, many nieces, nephews & her beloved fur babies Bandit & Precious. 

 

Friends & family are welcomed to honor & remember Linda at

Hillside Cemetery on M-89, Plainwell, MI at 11am on Saturday, January 21st for a graveside memorial service. Luncheon information to follow.
