Linda Mae Zedeck

April 29, 1948 — March 12, 2024

Vicksburg, MI

Linda Mae Zedeck, a cherished wife, mother and friend to many, has peacefully passed away in Bedford, MI. Born in Kalamazoo, MI in 1948 to her loving parents Dale and Pauline (Waldron) Smith, Linda's journey was one filled with love, compassion, and dedication.

A graduate of Vicksburg High School with the Class of 1966, Linda's high school days were not only marked by academic success but also by her triumph as the revered ping pong champion. Beyond her professional achievements and academic pursuits, Linda shared a beautiful life with the love of her life, Kenneth Zedeck. Their union on March 18, 1966 was just the beginning of a lifetime of love and happiness.

Together they raised three wonderful children and created cherished memories centered around their shared love for Christmas. Known for showering their family with presents and joy during the holiday season, Kenneth and Linda's bond was truly special and enduring.

Linda will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her warm personality. Described as welcoming, kind, caring, and selfless by those who knew her best, Linda's presence brought comfort and love to all who had the pleasure of crossing her path.

Linda was also a skilled cook. The family favorite – her Vanilla drop cookies and taco salad– brought smiles to many faces over the years. Linda also found joy in hobbies such as bowling, dancing, and crocheting. She shared a special connection with Kenneth on the dance floor whenever "Silver Wings" played; their synchronized movements reflecting a lifetime of harmony and love.

As we bid farewell to Linda Mae Zedeck in this earthly realm, we hold onto the memories of her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love. While our hearts ache at her absence, we take solace in knowing that she is now at peace.

Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her; however, her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in their hearts.  May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
