Lucille May Wells, age 91, passed away March 7, 2019 at home with her family.
Lucille was born in Marcellus on March 14, 1927, the daughter of Claude Castle and Mable Kline-Castle.
On March 22, 1958, she married Arthur Wells in Okemos, MI. They were married for almost 55 years before he passed away on January 18, 2013.
Lucille retired from Michigan State University after more than 20 years as a secretary. In her later years she enjoyed spending her time crocheting blankets for the kennels at the local animal shelter, and green and white blankets for the annual MSU silent auction and reading mysteries.
Lucille is survived by one daughter Lori Dahlquist of Marcellus, and one granddaughter Elyse Wells-Dahlquist of Los Angeles, CA.
Lucille was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law; Mary (James) Reif, and one son-in-law Donald Dahlquist.
