Passed quietly to her heavenly home Jan. 22, 2011 at the Bronson Nursing and Rehab in Lawton, Mi. Dolly was born Feb. 20, 1924 in Bethlehem, PA the daughter of Clarence Remaly and Blanch Lawall. Affectionately known to all as "Dolly". She lived all her life in the Bethlehem, Pa area until 1995 when she moved to Kalamazoo, Mi to be near her daughter-in-law and grand children and great grandchildren. Dolly was a hard worker and labored at various jobs in Bethlehem. After retiring, Dolly continued to be active by helping her friends and neighbors and by becoming a foster grandparent at a home for the mentally and physically challenged. After her move to Kalamazoo she again became a foster grandparent working at Wood's Lake. Elementary where she was loved by all her "kids". One of her great joys was being featured on a billboard on Stadium Dr. honoring foster grandparents. Dolly is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann (Arthur) Randall, grandson; Eric W. (Kamolthip) Vito, granddaughter, Sheila Vito-Randall (Robert) Chase, great grandson, Eric W. Vito II, 2 great grand daughters, Clarissa Vito and Lydia Midgett, 2 brothers, Charles (Dawn) Stewart and George (Donna) Stewart and a sister-in-law; Cathy Stewart and numerous nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents Blanche and Herbert Stewart, her only child and beloved son; Clarence F. Vito in Jan. 1974, beloved great grandson Bradley James Midgett in Jan. 2010, 1st husband, Francis Anthony Vito and 2nd husband, Eugene Barr, 2 brothers, Robert and Herbert Stewart Jr. At Dolly's request there will be no visitation or services. Memorials may be made to the Bradley James Midgett Memorial Scholarship Trust (to be established) which will be awarded to a KVCC Psychology Student. Send in C/O of Sheila Chase, P.O.
