Malcolm (Mick) Wayne Meyle was 90 when he peacefully passed at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Downtown Kalamazoo on September 22nd, 2014. Malcolm was born on March 11th, 1924 in Kalamazoo to Fred and Enola Meyle. He proceeded in death by his 4 brothers in death, Del, Fred, Jay and Harold. He has one brother still surviving, Melvin (Midge). After returning from the WWII Malcolm married the love of his life Cleta Dull on June 4th, 1949 and they've been married for the past 65 years. Together they owned and operated Meyle's Rural Mart in Texas corners. On top of owning a successful business they raised 4 children; Kim (Diane) Meyle, Ken (Paulette) Meyle, Kip Meyle and Kathy (Gary) Wood. They also have 8 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. After owning the store, Malcolm was a State Farm agent for 25 years and retired. He dedicated a majority of his free time to the Portage Optimist Club. In Malcolm's other free time, he enjoyed fishing in Canada with his sons and spent most of his 30 years of retirement in Florida with his wife Cleta. Malcolm will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. He loved his family with all of his heart and they are his legacy.
