Marcia Suzanne (Morris) Selbee age 72 passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, and son-in law ( John Saidman).
Marcia was born on Sept 18, 1941 in South bend Indiana, to parents Frank and Elizabeth Morris. She lived in Indiana with her parents and sister Sharon Grey (Morris). At a young age Marcia along with her sister and mother relocated to Marcellus, where they lived with her stepfather Ralph Bainbridge, and three half brothers Stephen Bainbridge of Marcellus, Matthew Bainbridge of Illinois, the late Gregory Bainbridge of Marcellus. Marcia also had four stepsisters, and one step brother all of them from Indiana Shortly after graduating High school Marcia Married Ronnie Hutchins of Portage MI. They together had three sons Danny Hutchins of Marcellus, David Hutchins of Marcellus, and Andrew Hutchins of Hawaii.
Marcia later divorced.
On December 5, 1964 she married Lynn Selbee of Galesburg MI.
Together they had a daughter Christy Saidman (Selbee)
Marcia and Lynn would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this December. They spoke often of making it “50 easy ones”, until Lynn passed on March 22, 2013.
Throughout there years together there were good times and bad times. But they were truly each others best friend. Together they traveled to many different states. They loved going to Colorado, it was one of there favorite places to see together.
They loved to ride motorcycles, and Marcia loved her four wheeler. She could ride with the best of them! Later in life, thanks to her best friend Eileen Yancey she traveled to beautiful places together. Including Jamaica, Aruba, and Mexico, but you could often spot those two at a Casino or two! They went all over Michigan, Las vegas, and a favorite Tunica Mississippi together! As well as other places.
Thank you Eileen Yancey for being such a good friend to her for forty plus years. But Marcia loved more than anything just being a grandma and what a amazing grandma she was. She never missed any of her grand-kids important events, in or out of school. She looked forward to baking Christmas cookies with the grand-kids, it was a special tradition. One that had her cleaning red and green sprinkles up till the following year! She will be missed by each and everyone of them terribly, for she touched each of their hearts in a special way and gave them memories that will last a lifetime. Her granddaughters who she was so proud of, Chelsey Sziede, Kennedy Bos, Sydney Bos, Aubrey Hutchins, Anna Hutchins, and Abigail Hutchins. As well as her grandsons, Zachary Hutchins, Tyler Hutchins, Kyler Vick, Andrew Jr. Hutchins and twins Arron and Aiden Hutchins.
Marcia had one great grandson Jack William Holden, whom brought smiles and laughter to her final days.
Marcia had numerous nieces and nephews. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend.
Per Marcia's wishes there will be no funeral services. Marcia like her husband chose cremation. She asked that their ashes be spread together so they may go as one.
I gave you this one thought to keep,
I am with you still-I do not sleep.
I am thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you awake in the mornings hush, I am the sweet uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone, I am with you still in each new dawn.
Merry Christmas Mom and Dad, you will be together once again
Love you both to the Moon~
