Margaret Jean "Peggy" Norcross

Margaret “Peggy” Norcross passed into the arms of the Savior that she loved on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at the age of 90. Peggy was born May 26, 1931, to Howard and Frances (Withrow) Haight.  Peggy was a devoted wife and mother who always put others before herself. She was a charter member of Berean Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years, sang in the choir and was active in the Ladies Missionary Fellowship. Camping with her family and grandchildren was something she always enjoyed. Peggy worked for many years as a registered nurse at Bronson Hospital where she met the love of her life whom she called “her Robert.”

Peggy is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bob Norcross; children, Brian Norcross, Karen (Tim) Norton, and Sharon (Brad) Love; grandchildren, Karissa (Brad) Hawley, Taryn Love, Tatum Love and Kyle Norton (Jasmine Campbell-Fagan); great grandchildren, Jude, Alice and Crosby Hawley; three very special friends, Clara Hasenick, Kathy Hall and Barb Schaafsma and her many dear friends at StoryPoint; and several special nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Betty Barrie. 

A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13th at 11:30 at Berean Baptist Church on 12th Street in Portage, Michigan. A light luncheon will follow. 

The family would like to send a special thank you to the entire staff at StoryPoint including caregivers, hospice care, food service, housekeeping, office staff and administration during this difficult journey.
