Marilyn Jean Richardson

Richardson, Marilyn 5/29/31 - 12/24/17 Pentwater, Michigan. Marilyn Richardson (Allen), 86, passed away peacefully in Kalamazoo. Marilyn was born in Vicksburg to Oscar and Ethel Allen. She was an elementary school teacher in Portage where she taught at Pershing and Central Elementary. She retired from teaching in 1984. She then spent winters in Florida and summers in Pentwater, until 2002 when she moved to Pentwater full time. She is preceded in death by her husband, John. She is survived by her children John (Ammie) of Schoolcraft, Amy of Denver, CO, and Marti (Wright) of Jacksonville, FL. Marilyn touched many lives and will be greatly missed by those that knew her. It was Marilyn's wishes that no public service be held. A memorial will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's name can be made to the Pentwater Public Library.
