Marjorie L. Fisher September 8, 1929 – July 8, 2019 Three Rivers, Michigan Marjorie Fisher, 89, passed away on July 8 at Three Rivers Hospital while surrounded by family. She was born on September 8, 1929 in Constantine, one of 6 children born to Marquis and Mary Day. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, LuAnn Seely of Sturgis; son, David Fisher of Three Rivers; three grandchildren, Meagan Fisher, Thomas Fisher, and Analyse Seely; 9 great grandchildren; one sister, Harriet (Don) VanLoo, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margaret, Maxine, Maribeth, and brother, Harvey; and her husband, Loren, on August 12, 2009. She was a graduate of Constantine High School and on June 3, 1950, she married the love of her life, Loren W. Fisher. The two resided in Constantine where Loren served as a rural letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. Marjorie was an active member of her church choir and a Sunday school teacher as well as a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was employed at Kirsch Company, C&D Plastics, and most recently E. L. Nickell Co. They were residents of Long Lake since 1953 and would spend winters in Leesburg and Ormond Beach, Florida. Enjoying family time at Long Lake and their visits to Daytona Beach, she and her husband could always be found sitting together where they loved to “people watch” on the beach. She was strong willed with a huge heart, well known for lending a shoulder and cheering on her family and friends. She also enjoyed many travels with Loren to Brazil, England, and Europe before his passing. Her wish was to be cremated. The Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
