Mark Anthony Shingledecker

Mark Anthony Shingledecker, age 52, recently of Cassopolis, passed away on Tuesday morning, June 04, 2019.
Mark was born July 18, 1966, in Three Rivers, the son of Charles and Sharron (Tuesley) Shingledecker.
He is survived by: both loving parents, two brothers: Paul (Diana) Shingledecker & Matt (Sheri) Shingledecker both of Marcellus, one sister: Beckie Shingledecker of Traverse City, two sons: Andrew Shingledecker of Kalamazoo and Jake Shingledecker of Marcellus, one daughter: Huntter Shingledecker of Marcellus, long time girlfriend Melissa Sandker, two step sons: Justin and August Adams, one step-daughter: Calrissa Sandker, three grandchildren: Nicholas, Gabrial, & Nevaeh Hicks of Marcellus, and many nieces and nephews.
Mark worked as a foreman at a trailer factory. He was an outdoors man and would partake in local tournaments for bass. He enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, would capture moths and butterflies for his collection, and enjoyed gardening. Mark owned his own street stock racecar, number 76, which he would race at Kalamazoo Speedway and New Paris Racetracks. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life Service at Dr. TK Lawless Park, 15122 Monkey Run, Vandalia, MI 49095 on Sunday, June 16th at 2:00 PM. Memorial donations may be directed to the family to help offset expenses. Online condolences may be left at www.materralstonfuneralhome.com .
