Marvin Hayes Jacobsen

A wonderful husband, father and friend, Marvin Jacobsen, age 80, of Plainwell passed away on May 6, 2019. Marv was born on June 24, 1938 in Trowbridge Township to Harold & Olive (Burnett) Jacobsen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Otsego United Methodist; 223 E. Allegan St. Marv's family includes his wife of 59 years, Myrna; his daughter Stacee Mattimore; his grandchildren: Benjamin, Molly, Casey and Monica; his brother David Mullligan; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jerry Mulligan. Marv graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1956. Marv worked as a truck driver for over 38 years. After retirement, he worked for Harold Ziegler. Marv collected antique cars for many years.
