Mary J. Austin

Mary J. Austin age 72, of Marcellus, MI passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at home.
She was born December 29, 1942 in Lawrence, MI the daughter of Arthur W. and Pauline L. (Johnson) Carney. In April of 1961 she married Edwin R. Austin who preceded her in death in 2008.
Mary was a bookkeeper for most of her adult life at various businesses.
Surviving is one daughter, Roberta L. “Bobbie” Austin (Mark Steckbeck) of Indianapolis, IN; two sons, Jerry R. Austin and Edwin G. Austin; two brothers, John P. Carney of Kalamazoo, James W. Carney of Marcellus and one sister, Peggy A. Greselin of Marcellus and granddaughter Tara P. Lamons. She was preceded in death by a grandson Daniel M. Austin.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4 PM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Wakelee United Methodist Church with a memorial services following at 4:00 PM.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be directed to the Wakelee United Methodist Church.
