Mary E. Bent, age 80, of Marcellus, MI passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at home.
She was born December 21, 1933 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of George and Ida (Knight) Griffin. On April 5, 1953 she married William D. Bent who survives.
She was a former 4-H Leader and an avid gardener. She truly loved her flowers and being outdoors.
Surviving besides her husband William is one daughter, Lisa (Gene) Beadle of Marcellus; one son, Richard (Linda) Bent of Marcellus; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or Edwards Corner Bible Church.
