Maxine Johnson

Maxine Marie Johnson, of Three Rivers, MI passed away peacefully on September 9, 2022.

Maxine was born on March 30, 1927 to Walter and Goldie Riddle in Vicksburg, MI. She grew up in the Vicksburg area and attended Vicksburg High School.

As a young woman, Maxine met and fell in love with Floyd Johnson. They were married within a year and had three beloved daughters: Sharon Miller of Centreville, Deanna Scott of Schoolcraft and Noreen Sears from Three Rivers.

Maxine was preceded in her passing by her loving husband, Floyd, and cherished eldest daughter, Sharon.

Maxine adored her family and was a proud grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother to many. Her home was full of photos of her children and grandchildren, who were her purpose and her joy.

She enjoyed spending time outside, working on her flowers and her yard, of which she took great pride. Maxine loved spending time in her kitchen and loved canning her special dill pickles. A talented baker, her homemade bread and donuts were always a favorite.

Faith was very important to Maxine and she was a longtime member, as well as on the board, at the Vicksburg Assembly of God.

Maxine will forever be remembered as our beloved mom, grandmother, aunt and friend.
