Melanie R. Brock

Melanie Ruth Brock of Portage, MI passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the age of 43. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on December 12, 1978, the daughter of Paul & Brenda (Wood) Brock. 

Melanie spent her entire life in Kalamazoo and St. Joe counties.  She enjoyed visiting places along the Lake Michigan shoreline, such as South Haven and Warren Dunes.  Melanie spent a good amount of time studying and discussing the Bible.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family and planting (and then enjoying) flowers!

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She left an indelible mark on all our lives, and her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, and her brother’s family.

Melanie is survived by her children: Kurt Koller and Leia Mullen; brother: Andy (Amy) Brock of Scotts, MI; nephew: Jacob Ross; nieces: Emma (Hananiah) Hardin of Kalamazoo, MI and Maggie Brock of Scotts, MI; grandson: Oliver Koller of Battle Creek, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Paul & Brenda (Wood) Brock and brother: Gary Alvord and Scott Brock.
