Michael Kevin Imm

Michael Kevin Imm of Plainwell, MI passed away at his home on March 16, 2021 at the age of 70. He was born on September 19, 1950 in Tucson, AZ the son of Joseph and Annette (Nix) Imm. When reflecting on the life of Michael Imm, words such as dedicated, noble, and tenderhearted come to mind, but it was both his steadfast faith and his endless love for his family and friends that will be his legacy. Michael enjoyed attending Light House Baptist Church in Plainwell, MI and really loved serving as an usher. During prayer services, he always made sure to pray for those in need and did not leave anyone out. He always had a positive attitude and we asked how he was doing, he would reply, “I’m doing fine.: He was very dedicated to God foremost, but also to his family and friends. He had many friends and cherished living near them in his humble home. One of his dearest friends, who he spent the most time with, was his dog: Sunshine. Sunshine brought him much comfort and companionship during the best and worst of times. Michael moved to Michigan in the year 2007 to be closer to his mother and brother, Donald, after living in California for many years. Michael is preceded in his passing by his parents and his brother: Donald Imm. Left to cherish Michael’s loving memory are his siblings: Thomas (Naty) Imm of Texas, John (Judi) Imm of California, and Mary Carroll of California. In accordance with Michael’s wishes public services will be held at Light House Baptist Church, 12220 Cressey Rd, Plainwell, MI 49080 on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve Smail officiating, immediately following the service Michael will be laid to rest at Cressey Cemetery of Prairieville Township. In lieu of flowers the family askes the memorial contributions be directed to Light House Baptist Church, 12220 Cressey Rd, Plainwell, MI 49080. 269-664-3229.
