Mildred Lucy Wuis

WUIS, Mildred Lucy (Hale) Martin Passed away Aug. 15, 2011. Mildred was born March 6, 1915 in Allegan. She is survived by 5 children; Jim (Lois) of Grandville, Joe (Carol) of Allegan, Carl (Janice) of Shelbyville, Joyce (Rick) Welch and Gail Whitmore of Watson Twp. She has 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Marie Allen of Plainwell; sisters Mary Sweet Rowe, Edith Arndt and Hattie Hiscock Doster; brothers, Hale W. Hale, Victor Hale, Max Hale and Earl Deshong. Her husband John Wuis died in 1985. Mildred died peacefully of natural causes. She was under the loving care of her family and Allegan Wings of Hope Hospice, where donations may be made. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial. Friends may share a memory online at: www.avinkcremation.com.
