PARKER, MINNIEBELLE SCHOOLCRAFT Age 96 Went to be with our Lord in Heaven on Feb. 8, 2014,surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 15, 1917 to Benjamin and Anna (Tierman) Chapman in Muskegon. She was united in marriage to Chester L. Parker on August 29, 1936. They made their home on the family farm where she lived. She was very active in the Schoolcraft Ladies Library, First Presbyterian Church of Schoolcraft and was a Life member of Schoolcraft Lotus lily United #262 and Loyalty #497 O.E.S. of Michigan. She was employed by Dr. Charles Bates for many years and Fred's Pharmacy until her retirement. She was a fantastic cook and shared with many over the years. She is survived by her sons: Thomas (Glenna) of Three Rivers, Robert (Patty) and James (Jerrita) of Schoolcraft, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, son; Edwin, granddaughter, Amy Sue and great great grandson, Wyatt Turner, her brothers; Benjamin, William, Gordon and Thomas. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 6pm Friday Feb. 14, 2014 at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Hall on Shaver Rd. Visitation will be before the service from 5 to 6pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Schoolcraft Ladies Library or the Schoolcraft First Presbyterian Church.
