Nathan Siegfried

Nathan F. Siegfried, of Kalamazoo passed unto the Lord, on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 30. Nathan came into this earthly world on June 29, 1989. With mom and dad busting and brother and sister amazed. Amanda, his sister, took to him right away and almost treated him like her best doll. As a normal baby he was very demanding with crying, middle of the night crisis, always hungry and the unforgettable pant loads. You know normal baby stuff. With an older brother David and sister Amanda, mom and dad welcomed him with open arms. With living in a small two-bedroom house on a slab. It was time for more room. They moved into a house on Douglas Terrace where Nate started school. First at KPS, and onto Advantage Academy, Woodward, Kai Central, and finishing up at Phoenix alternative. Nate developed a skill few possess ART. Both in drawing and later in prose. Some of his art has the Anime influence. On several outings’ family went to comic conventions in Chicago, Detroit, and Grand Rapids. He was always excited to show the comic artist what he could do. Remember this is a 10-12-year-old. At the Chicago Con, he met Gene Simmons from Kiss. While growing up he developed an ability to pick up sports with skateboarding, roller blades and snowboarding being his favorite. No matter how hard it was, he would try it. Later in life he had an obscure way of looking at the world and some of his writings depict this. Both these abilities were there, but did not earn any moo-la. After school Nate worked in the Fast food industry, but for a very short time. He wandered around and drifted back to mom and dad. Where he was living at his passing. His earthly remains were donated to Gift of Life to help others. Please use this as a place for donations. At his passing he leaves Mom & Dad, Brother & Sister and several nieces, nephews and cousins and several friends and associates. All living in the Kalamazoo area. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 1pm at the Avink Funeral Home & Cremation Society, 5975 Lovers Lane, Portage, MI 269-344-5600. The family will have a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service beginning at 12noon.
