Neil K. Burson

BURSON, Neil K. Mesick Formerly of Schoolcraft Passed away July 8, 2014 in Cadillac. Neil was born Jan. 23, 1930 in Prairie Ronde Twp. the son of Jesse and Eleanor (Terry) Burson. He was a lifelong resident and business owner with his wife at Minnie Sunoco in Schoolcraft for many years. He married Marian Chapman on Sept. 25, 1965 who survives. Also surviving 1 daughter and 2 sons; Dianne Fredericks, EJ (Lois) Burson and Doug (Ruth) Burson, 12 grandchildren. 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by a son, Denny Ray. Visitation will take place Saturday July 12, 2014 from 1 to 3pm at the Avink Funeral Home in Schoolcraft. Cremation to follow visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
