Nellie F. Middlestadt

Nellie F. Middlestadt, age 71, of Marcellus, MI passed away Monday, January 15, 2018.
She was born September 10, 1946 in Osceola, AR, the daughter of Louis and Sula Mae (Burfield) Allred. On March 19, 1966 she married David Middlestadt who preceded her in death.
Nellie worked as a nurses aid for 27 years at the former Bronson Lakeview Nursing Home in Lawton, MI. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, David (Tina) Middlestadt, Jeff (Donna) Middlestadt both of Marcellus and Dan (Jennifer) Middlestadt of Three Rivers, MI; four grandchildren, Andrew and Aaron Middlestadt and Alora and Jill Middlestadt; 2 step-grandchildren, Donovan Halliday and Shelby Newton and a soon to be great-grandchild; two sisters, Evelyn (Abel) Canales and Sue (Emilio) Martinez and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David and several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Friday, January 19, 2018 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus. A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring.
