Norma Jean Gilbert

Gilbert, Norma Jean 3/30/1938 – 7/23/2020 Norma Jean Gilbert, age 82, passed away on Thursday, July 23,2020 at her home in Portage, Michigan. Norma was born March 30, 1938 in Kalamazoo to George and Mabel (Reigle) Gilbert. Norma was preceded in death by her parents and sister Luana Gilbert. She is survived by her brother Ronald (Connie) Gilbert of Portage and her sister Carol (Eddy) Schuck of Schoolcraft as well as her niece and nephews. Norma is also survived by her many friends, caretakers and staff at Residential Opportunities, Inc. The family wishes to thank Lisa Petersen for all of her love and support. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in September.
