Nyoda Higgins

Nyoda Dian Higgins transitioned back into the spirit world, quietly in her sleep on April 28th, 2021. She was born on May 5, 1939. She was the daughter of Danford H. Higgins, and Louise Nyoda Stebbins (Higgins), who preceded her in death. She was a special child with different learning abilities and spent most of her adult life in adult foster care facilities, in Allegan, and Kalamazoo Counties. She resided at the Burell Adult Foster Care Home at the time of her passing. She was a kindhearted person with a joyful heart, and a personality that was happy and compassionate. She loved dolls, and in her early life she collected photographs of movie stars in the 1950s. She leaves behind three siblings, Rosemary A. Burke, Cathie M. Weir, and Lawrence D. Higgins. There will be a brief grave side service for her on May 8th at the Cuddeback Cemetery in Paw Paw, Township at 11:00 am. Flowers or donations are not necessary at this time.
