Mrs. Pamela Mary Brown passed away Wednesday, the 15th of March. Pamela
was born February 5th, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Rita
Roberts and Simone Joseph Condet. On January 18th , 1972 Pamela married her
soulmate, a soldier named George Earva Brown. To this union three children
were born. George Earva Brown Jr, Simon Arthur Brown, Tamara Ann Brown-
Kellum (married to Timothy Kellum). She was preceded in death by her father,
mother, brother and sister. Her brother Regis is survived.
Pamela and George had a loving marriage full of love and family that lasted 51
years. She was the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. “Mom”,
as she was affectionately known as to all her grandchildren, Jordan A. Brown,
Mikayla Lillian Kellum, Timothy Nicholas Kellum, Zachary Andrew Kellum, Allyiah
C. Slack, Gabriella N. Brown, Akeila A. Brown.
Mom loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. It gave her great pleasure to toss a
ball or watch them play in the backyard. The children all learned to ride their
bikes at mom at pappas house. These memories will be cherished by the
whole family.
Previous to marriage, Pamela studied dance at El Camino college in California.
She enjoyed time with her family as well as knitting, sewing, macrame and many
other crafts. From quilts to her young children’s cloths, Pamela would make it
all.
Pamela will be missed by her many friends in Plainwell and family from across
America. May she be at peace as she was loved by many. Following her wishes, cremation and a private service has taken place.
