Pamela Yeo Tucker passed away on the morning of October 17th in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was comforted by her niece Donna Jensen and best friend Stacey MacDonald at the time of her death.
Pamela Rinehart Yeo was born to Richard (Dick) and Vera Yeo in Los Angeles, California in 1951. At the age of 16 Pam was the class of 1968 Salutatorian at William S. Hart High School (she likely mentioned this to you a few times). After High School, still only 16, Pam toured Europe over the summer, began attending classes at CSU Northridge. Shortly after Pam began her 30 year career with Upjohn, a pharmaceutical company. In 2002 Pam relocated from Redondo Beach, California to Kalamazoo, Michigan where she ultimately retired from Upjohn/Pfizer and opened up her own massage therapy business. For over 14 years Pam tirelessly tended to the aches and pains of her many massage clients.
Throughout her adult, life Pam was an avid sports fan, attending countless K-Wings, Dodgers, and Tigers games, where she always managed to get involved in the action far more than the typical spectator. Pam's other hobbies included traveling, napping, winning at board games, dining in, dining out, dying her hair crazy colors, trying on crazy hats, and spoiling her friends, family, and pets. Pam was relentlessly devoted to squeezing the maximum amount of enjoyment out of life.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents; Richard, Vera, and Mildred; nephews: Guy Hanson, Jeff Camarena and Justin Camarena; and lifelong friend: Paula Boernsen. Pam is survived by her beloved four legged daughter: Katie; her nearly as beloved two legged sisters: Marianne Saur and Linda Camarena; her "Chosen" Michigan Family: Sean and Stacey MacDonald and their children, McKenna, Masyn, and Christopher, and countless (both genetic and honorary) nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
