Patricia Ann Bastian

Patricia Atkins (Mumy) Bastian, age 92, of Kalamazoo Michigan passed away December 20, 2015 at Borgess Hospital after a brief illness. Pat was born at Borgess to Arthur and Lucille Atkins. She was an office clerk at Keesler Air Force base during World War II. She enjoyed being a scout den mother and 4H leader while raising her family on their farm in Richland. Pat worked in retail at Gilmore and Hudson's department stores and also drove bus for Gull Lake Community schools for many years. She was proceeded In death by Roscoe Mumy, her first husband and father of her four children, Orrin Bastian, her second husband, as well as her brothers Dick and Bill Atkins. She is survived by her children Ken (Maryellen) Mumy of Metamora, MI Craig (Debra) Mumy of Richland, MI Scott (Connie) Mumy Augusta, MI and Pam (Guy) Martin Parchment, MI. Also, surviving are 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
