Patricia Anne Bristol, age 88, of Marcellus, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019, at home surrounded by her family.
Patricia was born in Medford, Wisconsin on March 26, 1931, the daughter of Albert Oliver and Elsi Mae (Green) Rogers.
On June 7, 1952, she married Verlin “Shaky” George Bristol, in Rockford, IL. Together they had five children: Sandy, Candy, Randy Rogers, Danny, and Lanny. They were married for 67 years before she passed away.
Patricia was a member of several organizations while rearing her children. She was a life member of Marcellus VFW 4054 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Retired Enlisted Association Auxiliary, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and Fraternal Order of Eagles 2303, of Three Rivers.
Patricia is survived by her husband: Verlin “Shaky” George Bristol, two daughters: Sandy (Bruce) Derby, Candy (Floyd) Warren, three sons: Randy Rogers, Danny (Sherri) Bristol, Lanny (Debbie) Bristol, three sisters: Lucy Rothamer, Betty Thomas, Carla Smola, and one brother: Larry Rogers, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Albert Oliver Rogers and Elsi Mae (Green) Rogers, two brothers: James Rogers, and George Rogers, three sisters: Noni Davis, Nina Neumueller, and Mary Poirier.
The Family would like to welcome friends for a visitation on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 10 am until 12 pm and funeral at 12 pm, both at Mater-Ralston Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Malcome officiating. Burial procession will meet on Thursday, September, 19, 2019, at noon, and will leave for Fort Custer National Cemetery, in Augusta, at 12:30 pm.
