Patricia Helene Fitzell

Patricia Helene Fitzell, of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully April 12, 2018, at Rose Arbor Hospice, Kalamazoo. She was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Chicago, the daughter of William and Helen (Slowik) Keren. Patricia is survived by her siblings, William (Marian) Keren, Annette Mikrut and Karen (Dave) O'Leary; children, Paul (Cynthia) Albertson, Randy Albertson, Peggy Albertson, and Robin (Bryan) Byrne; her five grandchildren, Zachary, Kristel, Joshua, Roger and Savannah; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rudolph Albertson; and her second husband, James Fitzell. Patricia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She will also be remembered for her wonderful laugh, spunkiness, and great sense of humor. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 20, 10:30 a.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, MI. A luncheon will follow at her residence in Kalamazoo.
